Terms & Conditions for Partners
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into between Afrobooker and the Partners (“Partner”) who list their services on the Afrobooker platform. This agreement describes the terms and conditions under which Afrobooker provides its services to the Partner.
1) Services
Afrobooker offers partners a dynamic online platform to promote their services to a wide audience. Partners can promote a variety of services, including:
- Accommodation in hotel
- Accommodation in residence (apartment, villa, studio, house, bungalow, etc.)
- Restaurant reservation
- Health and beauty services
- And many more to come
The Afrobooker platform allows partners to:
- Reach a large audience, made up of the African diaspora and international tourists.
- Efficiently manage their announcements and reservations using a user-friendly dashboard.
- Update information about their services in real time.
- Communicate directly with customers.

2) Obligations of Afrobooker partners
As an Afrobooker partner, you agree to respect the following obligations:
- Represent accurately _ your services
- You must provide accurate and complete information about your services on the Afrobooker platform , including prices, availability and amenities. This information must be updated regularly to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- Keep your availability calendar up to date
- You must keep your availability calendar up to date to avoid confusion or double booking. This also allows customers to plan their reservations with confidence.
- To honour all reservations _
- You must honor all reservations made through the Afrobooker platform. This means that you must provide the reserved services on the dates and times agreed with the client.
- Provide accurate and timely responses
- You must provide accurate and timely responses to all Afrobooker and customer communications. Fast and effective communication is essential to ensure a positive customer experience and maintain a good relationship with Afrobooker .
- Maintain all necessary licenses, permits and insurance.
- You must maintain all necessary licenses, permits and insurance for your services as required by law. This ensures that your services comply with legal standards and protects both you and your clients.
3) Fees and Payments
Afrobooker charges a 10% commission on the total amount of the reservation when paying online by the customer. This commission is used to guarantee the effective arrival of the customer and to cover Afrobooker ‘s service costs .
The remaining 90% is paid directly to the partner establishment upon the client’s arrival. Afrobooker only retains the 10% commission if the reservation is validated and confirmed.
This approach has advantages for partners and customers:
- For partners:
- Fast and reliable payment of winnings (90% upon customer arrival) avoiding banking transaction delays.
- Risk reduction _ cancellation
- For the customers:
- Guarantee of a reservation secure
- Ease of payment in line

4) Requirements for posting on Afrobooker
To list your services on Afrobooker and provide a quality customer experience, make sure to respect the following requirements:
- Accurate and complete information:
- Describe in detail your services, prices, availability and equipment.
- Ensure the accuracy and regular updating of this information.
- High quality images:
- Upload clear, attractive, and realistic photos of your services.
- Allow customers to project themselves and make an informed choice.
- Up-to-date availability calendars:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date calendar to avoid confusion or double bookings.
- Make it easy to plan reservations with confidence.
- Answers fast and efficient:
- Ensure responsive communication with Afrobooker and customers.
- Provide a positive experience and strengthen your relationship with the platform.
By respecting these requirements, you contribute to the proper functioning of the platform and customer satisfaction, while enhancing your own activity.
5) Afrobooker flexible cancellation policy
Afrobooker is committed to offering a flexible cancellation policy that protects both customers and partners. Here are the main conditions of this policy:
- Cancellation free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival:
- Guests may cancel their reservation without penalty up to 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date.
- The refund will be made in full, including the 10% deposit.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival:
- If cancellation is made within 48 hours of arrival, the 10% deposit is non-refundable.
- This amount will be divided equally between the partner and Afrobooker .
- Valid reasons cancellation:
- Afrobooker reserves the right to evaluate the validity of the reasons for cancellation.
- In the event of exceptional circumstances (force majeure, medical emergencies, etc.), exceptions to the cancellation policy may be granted.
- Benefits of this policy:
- For partners: Reduces financial losses linked to last minute cancellations.
- For customers: Provides flexibility and peace of mind when planning their trip.
6) Termination
The Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time upon written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the partner’s ad(s) will be removed from the Afrobooker platform .
7) Privacy
Both parties agree to keep confidential all information provided by the other party that is not publicly available, including, but not limited to, customer information, pricing and commission rates.
8) Compensation
The partner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Afrobooker , its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claim, damage or liability arising from its services or any violation of this agreement.
9) Limitation of liability
Afrobooker ‘s financial liability under this agreement may in no case exceed the total amount of commissions collected by Afrobooker from the Partner during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10) Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Afrobooker is headquartered. Any dispute arising under this agreement will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11) Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties. It cancels and replaces any prior agreement, proposal or communication, oral or written, relating to the subject of this agreement.
By registering its services on the Afrobooker platform, the Partner agrees to fully submit to the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
